DOLLS FOR MAYA

Having all boys...I've already started a collection for Maya.
I loved playing with dolls when I was a child!

We have legals and Big surprise!!!

This has been an exciting week for us!! First of all on Wednesday, we received Maya's legals by fed ex.
On Thursday morning, I received a huge surprise from Tami. Anju, the director at the orphange has Maya's PASSPORT!!! I could hardly believe it. It only took 13 days for her passport to be processed!!! We were expecting at least 5 weeks.


So....The journey to bring Maya home continues on....in just 3 weeks, Friday, March 16th we leave for Kolkatta, India. Our 4 year old son, Devan will be coming with us .

First Friends!

This picture was sent to me by Kristi, Daya's mom. It was taken by Amanda who just picked up her daughter, Ananya. I wonder if Maya and Daya sleep together in this crib. I will always treasure this picture. Isn't it just so sweet how Maya is sucking her thumb? She is like a little doll!!!

Legals and New Pictures

On January 30th, Maya's 10 month old birthday..we recieved great news from Tami. The judge in Kolkatta approved BK and I as Maya Atmoja's legal guardians. YEAH!!!!! We were extremely happy. Our documents were signed by the judge on February 6.

On January 31st, we recieved 2 more pictures of our baby girl. She is getting so big. I can hardly wait to hold her.

On November 8th, we received an e-mail from Jynger...we received our NOC.
On November 16th, we were sent an updated Height and Weight on Maya. Her weight
was 7.9 kg (17lbs). Height 69 cm.
December 1st was another exciting day...2 new pictures of Maya. She is just beautiful!!

Referral!!!

On August 3o, 2006, we received a phone call from Jynger from Dillon International.
She has a healthy baby girl for us. Her Indian name is Atmoja. She weighed 6lbs at birth.
Her birthday is on March 30, 2006.
Wow!!! She was 5 months old on the day we received her referral.
Both BK and I knew right away that Atmoja belong to us!!!
What a gift from heaven!!!
